Spent Xmas at this disappointing hotel. The breakfast was decent, offering a variety of pastries and fruits. , the outdoor pool was kept clean and we enjoyed a dip or two, but it was cold. The location was convenient for exploring the nearby area.
The rooms were old and not well-maintained. The furnishings were cheap and uncomfortable.

The staff helpful but overall response to problems was poor . Maintenance problems not resolved e.g. patio door wouldn't open, telephone didn't work lights in bar area not all working so very dark. No ice available as machine wasn't working and ice bags not frozen. The hotel has lots of nice features if only maintence was attended to. Friendly one horse town we all loved it a real get away.

Great value for money and a real gem of a find. A very large and comfortable room with pool view. Very close to village centre for local cafes. Only wish we had been able to stay longer. A hearty breakfast was included
We liked everything about the hotel and wished we could have satyed much longer.

Had a wonderful Christmas experience. The hotel had amazing decorations and ambiance. The staff was helpful and very friendly. I really enjoyed the breakfast that was provided every morning, especially the warm croissants and pastries. The location was also great, as it was close to several shops and attractions.
The room wasn't as clean as it could have been. The carpets were a bit dirty and the bathroom had a slightly musty smell.

Peaceful, in an area of beauty and interest. Combined the old and the modern very well. Comfortable and friendly. At the prices we were paying, I would recommend it to anyone.
Some meals were good, some were so-so. Breakfast choice small, but at the cheap rates we were paying, the value for money was excellent.
